Praise and Worship service this month is on
Saturday, May 19th and is also a dinner. Cost is $10 per person. Half of the
money raised will go to the youth camp fund and the other half will provide
funds for the fun activities the youth want to do – (roller skating,
iceskating, bowling, etc. )
Hope everyone can come and join us on Saturday at 6 pm. Please reply to Sue Lyle
if you plan on attending so that we will have plenty of food.

2012 District Camp Registration

District Camp is July 9-13. As usual we will have car washes and other
fundraising efforts to help pay for the cost of camp. Also as usual, there is
an early registration deadline. Also as usual, if you plan to go to camp
and miss the early registration deadline, you/your parents will be asked to
make up the difference in cost.

Camp is open to any child/young person entering 5th grade in the fall of
2012 to those just graduating in May/June 2012.

Older young people may be able to go as adult counselors, etc.

Please let me know if you are planning to go as we will need adult
volunteers to also go…1 per every 5 campers, gender specific. i.e. even if we
only have 1 or 2 boys going, we'll need to provide a male adult.

Adults, please consider going to camp…speaking from experience…it's
lots of fun!

2012 School of Mission Registration

Looking for a great mission opportunity this summer? At the Texas
Conference Cooperative School of Christian Mission (July 26-28, 2012 at Lakeview)
people can take part in hands-on mission (constructing picnic tables,
knit/crochet for beginners or experienced folks AIDS afghans). Learn about mission in Haiti, Immigration and the Bible, Poverty and its harsh realities.
Sampler classes are offered to give a taste of additional mission topics.
Children and Youth may also attend and participate in age-appropriate
learning and fun activities. Individual and Family rates available. Register
